Scholarships

Applications are due by April 19, 2026.

Annually, the PRSA Iowa Chapter offers three scholarships to help students and professionals in the pursuit of public relations education.

Ferne Bonomi and Dr. Henry Milam Undergraduate Scholarship

• $1,500 scholarship for a current PRSSA member for use toward an undergraduate degree in public relations or communications.

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Scholarship

• $1,000 scholarship for a public relations or communications student that is part of an under-represented race, religion, sexual orientation, disability, culture, age, gender, gender identity in the public relations profession.

Advanced Degree and Professional Development Scholarship

• $1,000 scholarship for PRSA member pursuing an advanced degree or other professional development program.
• Apply online

Applications for all scholarships open on Feb. 17, 2026, and are due by April 19, 2026. The chapter reserves the right to not award a scholarship in each category if there aren't enough eligible candidates. Email Baillee Furst, Past President, with questions.
